Will my child need an evaluation?

If your child has not been evaluated within the past 12 months, we will conduct an evaluations to determine areas of need and frequency of therapy, as well as write new treatment plan goals. We conduct evaluation/s during your child’s first session/s. Your therapist will prepare you for what is needed during the evaluation, who will participate, what to expect, and answer any questions you may have before the evaluation appointment.

If you have a current evaluation, your child may not need to be evaluated. Your therapist will review your child’s report(s) prior to beginning services and create a new treatment plan with goals for therapy and for the family.

What is the cancellation policy?

If your child is unable to participate in a scheduled session, please cancel the session by contacting your therapist via email or phone a minimum of 24 hours in advance. Late cancellation or now show fee is $100 and is not billable to insurance. We understand that children may present symptoms of illness the morning of his/her therapy session. Your therapist will attempt to reschedule your child’s session to the best of their ability.

How does billing work?

Payment is due at the time of session. One of our team members will check your insurance coverage prior to starting services. We submit claims to your insurance after each session. Once the claim is finalized, we will charge the credit card on file for any amount not paid by the insurance, and you will receive an invoice via email. If your plan is not one that we accept, our team member will discuss your out of pocket payment options. We offer payment options for private pay clients. Find out more by contacting us.
